Elle reliait Lyon \u00e0 Bordeaux en passant par Clermont, Aurillac et Agen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le docteur Labat rapporte la l\u00e9gende de la Marie del Val. Ce nom serait celui d&rsquo;une jeune berg\u00e8re qui aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 martyris\u00e9e par un groupe de sarrasins lors de leur retraite en 732 suite \u00e0 leur d\u00e9faite face \u00e0 Charles Martel \u00e0 la bataille de Poitiers.
